I love it! I’ve recently made a transition into data science after years of management and finance types of positions. I wanted to do something more technical, something where I would be one of the “creators” and not just one of the “administrators.” I’m really enjoying it. As someone with a family, I can’t put in the type of focus and hours that you do. However, I do a lot with the time that I do have because as a parent you have to learn to be super focused. You should see what I can get done on the weekend during my toddler’s two hour nap time! I think the most important thing is mindset — having that determination to wake up every day and say “I CAN do it. I WILL do it.” It’s the determination to make up your mind to accomplish something. And the maturity to also say — well I only have this much time so I will do my best with it and not get stressed out and unbalanced.
