Yes! Thank you for finding that study. Excellent. Interestingly I have very poor spatial skills but I have never found this to hinder me in math or physics and I have always had a high aptitude for both these subjects. I also had the benefit of attending an all girls high school. There I think the main distinguishing factor for high math performers was ethnicity. The children of asian parents tended to be the ones in the advanced STEM classes, again pointing, in my opinion, to the impact of social pressures and stereotypes in North America in this area.
